The Cider Mill rebuilt in 1972 from a fire that winter. The Mill was relocated on the site, extra parking was added, and the space along Nanticoke Avenue became a pumpkin patch for visiting children in the fall. Along with the well-known selection of Cider Mill apples, this was the beginning of what was to become the Cider Mill Farmstand.

In 1986, Bob and Gloria Grannis came in and began "growing" the farmstand. Over the years, their hanging baskets, perennials, herbs and vegetable plants, fresh produce, and fall mums joined the pumpkins and apples to become the "pick" of every season.

Fall 2008 was our first without Bob and Gloria, and we did our best to make it better than ever! We thank you for supporting our select choices of apples, pumpkins, and mums, as well as a full pick of gourds, indian corn, stalks, and other harvest decorations.

In 2009, we hope to "grow" the Cider Mill Farmstand even more for our patrons.

May 4th – June 14th, the Cider Mill Farmstand will be filled with healthy bedding plants, herbs, perennials, potted flowers, and hanging baskets of the best varieties.

June 16th — September 11th will be set aside for local farm vendors to use our covered stalls for providing their fresh harvests. Check What’s Fresh?, and Vendor Postings, to see who is coming, and what you might like Friday Afternoons.

September 12th — November 1st will once again feature the Cider Mill apples, pumpkins, mums, and fall harvest decorations.
